Savouring autumn in Klausen and Feldthurns
The bright colours of nature, pleasant temperatures and bright blue skies: in our area, autumn really shows its most beautiful side
Törggelen in the Eisacktal valley
The Eisacktal valley is the cradle of the original Törggelen – take part in this beloved tradition! Enjoy a walk in nature and stop by at a local farm or tavern to relish hand-made specialities of the season.
The Gassltörggelen in Klausen
In mid-September, Klausen turns into an open-air Törggelen tavern, with food stalls, music and entertainment.
The Chestnut trail
Walking along the Chestnut trail near Feldthurns is even more magical now that the air is so clear, the leaves are turning gold, and the farm inns are serving autumnal delicacies!
The Keschtnigl Weeks in Feldthurns
Chestnuts, which we call “Keschtn” or “Keschnigl” in our local dialect, are practically a landmark here in the Feldthurns area. From mid-October to early November, we pay homage to this delicious fruit by celebrating the “Keschnigl Weeks” with guided tours, tastings and a market.
Cycling in the sun
Whether you prefer an electric bike, a road bike or a mountain bike, you will be spoilt for choice with sporty mountain trails, forest trails leading to the pastures and valley cycle paths along the Eisack river.
South Tyrol Guest Pass
Our guests receive the South Tyrol Guest Pass free of charge: free travel on all public transport operated by the South Tyrolean public transport system, free admission to around 90 South Tyrolean museums, free admission to the Klausen and Feldthurns swimming pools and the Acquarena in Brixen, and much more.
